Description
NESTLE wooden tripod Max-I, heavy duty version, 132-220cm
Wooden tripods have high damping properties and behave almost neutrally in sunlight. This makes wooden tripods suitable for stationing surveying instruments (theodolites, total stations, motorised robotic stations) and for measurements with high and highest accuracy requirements. A special oil treatment prevents the penetration of water, so the resulting swelling of the wood is significantly reduced. This tripod is equipped with a triangular head plate. The Max-I tripod is characterised by a particularly high working height (220 cm) and is equipped with double clamping (screws at the bottom, eccentric at the top).
All special features at a glance
- The Max-I wooden tripod is made of the highest quality wood.
- A special oil treatment prevents the penetration of water and the resulting swelling of the wood.
- The wooden tripod has better damping properties than aluminium tripods, so vibrations can be absorbed very well.
- In addition, the material expands less in direct sunlight.
- The handling of the wooden tripod is just as comfortable as with an aluminium tripod. The tripod legs can be extended without snagging, which significantly increases durability. Nevertheless, the clamping grips firmly and securely.
- With its optimised maximum working height, the Max-I stand is ideal wherever high working heights are important, e.g. for machine controls.
- The Max-I is equipped with double clamping (screws at the bottom and eccentric at the top).
