Highlights at a Glance
-
This model is equipped with two clamping variants (eccentric clamping at the top and screw clamping at the bottom). The two clamping variants can be used individually or together. In this way, the tripod can be positioned quickly and very flexibly and is doubly secured if necessary.
-
Our heavy wooden tripods are made of the highest quality wood.
-
A special oil treatment prevents the penetration of water and the resulting swelling of the wood.
-
Wooden tripods have better damping properties than aluminium tripods, so vibrations can be absorbed very well.
-
In addition, the material expands less in direct sunlight.
Description
Wooden tripods have high damping properties and behave almost neutrally in sunlight. This makes them suitable for stationing surveying instruments (theodolites, total stations, motorised robotic stations) and for measurements with the highest accuracy requirements. A special oil treatment prevents the penetration of water, thus significantly reducing the resulting swelling of the wood. This tripod is equipped with a round head plate. The self-locking mechanism secures the tripod legs during carrying and transport. Unintentional unfolding is thus prevented. This efficiently prevents transport damage and injuries. For flexible use, the tripod can be quickly positioned by the eccentric clamp and additionally secured by the screw clamp if required. The two clamping variants can be used individually or together.
